Amazing workcation at Parvada Bungalows! If you want to escape the stress of the city and Covid-19 to do your work in peace surrounded by fantastic scenery, this is the place to be. Chef Prakash can make just about anything you want - Continental, Mediterranean, Chinese and of course, authentic Indian Kumaoni khana! My daily routine consisted of getting up early (or late!) to some mindful yoga in the beautiful yoga room, followed by a great breakfast (which could be anything ranging from parathas dripping with butter, to omelettes, to yummy waffles, etc.) with pahadi chai. This was followed by focused work in their comfy, well-stocked library (again, with great views) and long evening walks or jogs in the hills of the Kumaon range. Some days if I was feeling adventurous, I'd ask Chef Prakash to make a dish with a different recipe and he would always oblige. I had a blast making cookies in their super modular kitchen. My health was never better and the hosts, Vasudha and Sanjay Sondhi, went the extra mile to ensure my comfort. I highly recommend the Wild Fig Villa for stay (its perfect for families) for its great views. Then again, all of the rooms had good views.
Amazing stay. Great food. Perfect host. Highly recommended.
